Private-label supplements manufacturer for Iraq, made in Germany, Italy and Spain.
100 supplement formulations for distributors and brand owners entering Iraq. All of them are produced at our sites in Germany, Italy and Spain. The two lists below split them by the registration status of the production site. 60 are made at sites registered with the Iraqi MoH, 38 of those with the KMCA for the Kurdistan region. The other 40 have not been filed in Iraq, so the application is made in your name. Arabic artwork and the file for the authority run alongside production.
Made in Germany and Italy, at sites the Iraqi MoH already holds on file (60)
Our production site behind every line here sits on the Iraqi MoH register. 31 are vitamin lines, 27 are vitamin D3, two are iron. For 38 of them our production site is on the KMCA register for the Kurdistan region as well, 23 made in Germany and 15 in Italy. The other 22 are Italian and sit on the Baghdad register only, so Erbil needs a file of its own. The forms run wide. Methylcobalamin B12 comes as oral vials, vitamin C 1000 mg as effervescent tablets. Folic acid is paired with iodine and B12. Tablets cover A-Z depot and plain multivitamin, lutein with zeaxanthin, and lactoferrin with vitamins C and D3, which also comes as an oral spray. On the D3 side there are drops from 400 to 1000 IU, D3 with K2 drops, direct sticks, oral sprays, and 2000 and 5000 IU tablets. Calcium with D3 and two iron bisglycinate capsule lines close the list. Minimum order is 5,000 units on 47 lines and 10,000 to 20,000 on the other 13. More lines from sites with an Iraqi registration sit under Iron, Children, Pregnancy & fertility, Digestive & probiotics, Immune support and Bone & joint. Across the Products Library that is 629 of the 1,135 supplement formulations, stated line by line on each product page.
Not yet filed in Iraq: gummies from Germany, probiotic sticks and capsules from Spain (40)
Nothing on this list of 40 has been filed in Iraq. The application is therefore made in your name and not under someone else's file. 19 gummy lines are made at our site in Germany and start at 5,000 units. They cover multivitamin in classic, vegan and sugar-free versions, jelly beans and fruit cubes, apple cider vinegar and prebiotic fibre. Elderberry with vitamin C and zinc sits there too, next to manuka honey, omega-3 DHA with choline and a collagen gummy for hair, skin and nails. The other 21 lines are made at our site in Spain and start at 10,000 units. Melatonin with vitamin B6 runs as drops, one version from 3 years, and as oral strips. Capsules cover lutein with zeaxanthin, lactoferrin with vitamins A, C and E, and ginger with B6. There is a children's fibre and iron gummy. The probiotics come as sticks and capsules: L. rhamnosus, L. reuteri, L. acidophilus and Saccharomyces boulardii, plain, gastro-resistant or combined with FOS. More unfiled lines sit in Specialist formulas, Women's health and Oral care. We confirm the site registration before the project starts. Where a certificate is issued at the end, it names the applicant, not us.
From formulation to your branded product in four steps.
01 — Pick the lines, then we check capacity
Mark the lines you want in the two lists above, or send us your own brief instead. We confirm that the site's Iraqi registration is current. Your version is then filed under your own brand and your own licence holder. The formula itself does not change. For medicines a fresh CPP is issued for the new holder. What the product page prints is the starting point. The authority's current checklist decides the rest.
02 — Arabic artwork and the brand name
Label, leaflet and carton are set bilingual, Arabic and English, in the layout Iraqi files expect. Samples of the standard formulation reach you before you commit to anything. If you want the name held in Germany as well as in Iraq, we file a German trademark for it.
03 — Documents, stamps and who files them
The set is a Certificate of Analysis, a certificate of origin, a certificate of conformity and a Free Sale Certificate. The site's GMP certificate goes with it, plus a CPP where the authority asks for one. Legalisation runs through the Chamber of Commerce and the Iraqi embassy, and the buyer's side handles it. Your scientific office submits in Baghdad. Your applicant in Erbil submits to the KMCA. Many buyers do both. Field follow-up in Baghdad and Erbil can be arranged on request for the queries that come back.
04 — Production and the first pallet
The production time, from formula lock and approved artwork to the first pallet, is set in our offer for each product. Our quality unit releases the batch and the goods move ex works. Every shipment travels with its batch Certificate of Analysis and the legalised commercial documents. Iraq issues the import licence per shipment. Reorders run on the file that is already open.
Private-label facts, answered upfront.
What does “from a site registered in Iraq” mean for a private-label version under my own brand?
It means our production site is on the Iraqi MoH register, and for 38 of the 60 lines on the KMCA register too. The documents, specifications and stability data of that site are already with the authority. So the file does not open from zero. Whether your branded pack runs as a variation or as a fresh application depends on who the applicant of record is. The authority's current checklist settles that, and we confirm it per product before you order. We prepare the file and coordinate it. We do not guarantee the outcome or the timing.
What is the minimum order quantity for private-label supplements for the Iraqi market?
Most of the page starts at 5,000 units per SKU. That is 66 of the 100 lines: 35 of the 37 Italian, 12 of the 23 German in the registered list, and all 19 German gummies. The 21 Spanish lines start at 10,000. Two Italian lines sit there as well, a vitamin C and butcher's broom tablet and a D3 drop. Six German lines join them: folic acid, calcium with D3, and the D3 2000 and 5000 IU tablets. The German B12 and D3 vials and the D3 direct stick begin at 15,000. Two German D3 drops begin at 20,000. Every product page prints its own figure, and the written offer repeats it.
I am a foreign brand owner. Can I register in Iraq directly, or do I need a scientific office?
You need a licensed local applicant. In practice that is a scientific office, pharmacist-owned or pharmacist-managed, holding a syndicate letter. The import licence is then issued per shipment. If you do not have that partner yet, we introduce you to offices we work with in Baghdad and Erbil. We stand between our production, your office and the authority and keep the whole exchange in one language. An importer who already runs a licensed scientific office files in its own name.
Do I need a separate KMCA registration to sell in the Kurdistan region?
Yes. The Kurdistan Medicine Control Agency keeps a file of its own. It asks for an authorisation letter from the producing company, certified by the chamber of commerce and the Iraqi embassy. It asks for a certified GMP certificate for the site, and for the Kurdistan syndicate card of the applicant pharmacist. The checklist the KMCA is using at the time is the one that counts. For 38 of the 60 lines above, our production site already sits on both registers. The other 22 are made at sites on the Baghdad register only, so Erbil is prepared as a second file; field follow-up there can be arranged on request.
How long does it take from order to first shipment, including registration?
The production time, from formula lock and approved artwork to the first pallet, is set in our offer for each product. The file is put together while production runs, provided the production site’s GMP and Free Sale Certificates are current. Legalisation runs in parallel. That side we control. Review time we do not. Iraq operates a faster route where the site holds GMP certification from a reference agency such as the EMA, FDA or WHO, and whether a given site qualifies is checked case by case. We tell you what we are seeing at the moment. We never hand you a date.
Which documents come with each product?
Every line ships with a Certificate of Analysis, a certificate of origin, a certificate of conformity and a Free Sale Certificate. An MSDS follows on request. The site's GMP certificate comes with them, and a CPP where an authority requires one. Legalisation is handled on the buyer's side.
